The right to a warm, dry bed;

The right to friends and companions;

The right to downtime,

The right to be groomed regularly;

The right to medical care;

The right to be free of experimentation;

The right not to be eaten;

The right not to be put in harm’s way or to easily escape;

The right to not be used for sport;

The right to be free of exploitation;

The right to play and have plenty of dog toys;

The right to have one’s emotional needs considered;

The right to live in a fascinating world (cage free, confined to a yard, tied up, etc.);

The right to be protected from harm by other dogs, animals or people.
